What do you think of the current Beta? Ready for Prime-Time?

Don't try asking Jon direct on topic questions he won't answer them.

Here are but just a few Direct ON Topic questions asked of Jon that he
refuses to answer:

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How does a post processor compensate for something that is not done in
the "CAM program"?

How does a post processor work?

What do you feel is a fair wage for a journeyman machinist in San
Diego?

Are you as sure about this as you were about SmartCAM not having
anything like Chaining?

What is the difference between programming Aerospace parts and
Non-Aerospace parts?

So how DO you machine on all faces of a pallet using multiple offsets
in Mastercam Jon?????

Explain step by step how YOU chain geometry in MasterCAM?

Tell us Jon, running multi-axes lathes with multiple tools working on
a complex part at the same time, what CAM program will "do it" without
some manual editing?

If they are comparable why did you pay $600.00 when you could have
paid $25.00 for the same information?

You liked SolidWorks 1998 but called SW 2006 a complete piece of ***.
So what changed between SW-1998 that you liked and SW-2006 that made
it a complete piece of *** Jon?

You never quite explained why you hated SolidWorks 2006 and you love
2007, what changed your mind?

Of all these modelers you talk about, VX, Gibbs, SW, Solid Thinking
and others, *how many and specifically which companies* have you ever
sent a check to for their software?

Do you own a legal seat of Gibbs, ST, SW or VX?

Using your words and statements makes you look like an idiot?

Lot of people hiring machine operators with no experience or education
in drafting, designing or engineering to draw up their parts?

How can that be Jon? I never said anything about "real price paid in
the market".

How exactly have you spent time to bring this about?

Why are you recommending Bob learn a program that according to you is
a complete piece of ***?

Are you saying someone is paying a high school drop out, machine
operator to draw up parts where he has no schooling or work experience
in engineering or design or drafting or solid modeling and has nearly
2 whole months using SolidWorks 2007?

Would that be where you pass judgment on programs you don't know and
don't use....LIKE SolidWorks.........and every CAD/CAM OR CAD OR CAM
program you pass judgment on?

Did you read the Author's notes?

You bought Visual Mill and know first hand they are honest and
reputable to deal with?

Damn you bought Delcam as well and know firsthand they are reputable?

So you bought FeatureCAM and know first hand that they are also honest
and reputable to deal with?

Do you know as much about these programs and companies as you did
about how good OneCNC was?

You know where you said they had delivered a good product and only
years later when you actually tried to use the program said their
product was crap?

Are you as sure now about this subject as you where then about OneCNC?

You are using SolidWorks professionally?

There are people/companies paying you to model their parts?

He is posting in the SolidWorks group JON, are you confusing CAD with
CAM again?

Why would machinists be drawing or designating parts for the shops
customers?

Wouldn't that be a customers/programmers/designers/engineers job
before they would pull a machinist off a machine to draw up their
part?

Or are you confusing CAM with CAD again?

Exactly step by step how do YOU chain geometry in MasterCAM?

What does it say about you forging comments and posting them to your
"interview" to make yourself look better, in direct violation of your
agreement with the author?

Why didn't you answer the question about editing the Toolbox database?

Why do you continue to refuse to answer, Jon?

Remind me never to piss you off.
But,
You forgot the manual contouring/spread*** debacle, where even jb's Dad
(Bottle) joined in--in disbelief, I believe.
That's when I gave up on jb--except to poke him once in a while, to see if
he still moves.

I would like to remind jb that food sanitation laws require meats, which
include hot dogs sold out of carts, to be maintained at 160 F--esp. with the
B. coli bug airborne so close by.
Might bump it up to 170.

Oh, the subject line change: From one of the commenters in the jb/Folini
Fracas.
Hilarious. Was it Bill in this group? I owe him 25c. :)
