Running renishaws omv, based on delcam, and its tight.

Just wondering why nobody is using it?

Too expensive?
Made by english people?

It seems like the creme of the crop from a distance?

Steve Mackey use to use Delcam Powermill but I don't believe his shop
has upgraded it in quite awhile. The Delcam rep (use to be the EGS
FeatureCAM rep) in Phoenix, Arizona is a very nice person to work
with. I thought that when Delcam purchased EGS things would go to hell
but in FACT they have gotten better! Delcam can take very hard hitting
criticism and they do a great job of running their forums... much
better than the E Mastercam Forum!

Delcam has never deleted or censored any of my posts / comments. When
I was in Phoenix, AZ. I enjoyed doing business with them. Good people.
Honest. No bull***. Easy to do business with.

Did Steve Mackay ever state how he does electrodes with VX? I'm sure
that VX has an automated way to create trodes rather than what you go
threw.

I think that was the system that would make circular and square orbitted
electrodes? It's extremely hard in solidworks to move stuff towards the
middle in x and y(proberbly cause I dont know the trick). I usually do it in
mastercam because I can cheat, Im sure there s a way in solidworks, but when
I seen it as a menu option, click, wait, done....I was hooked.
