Franco Folini is in the cadcam business.
Is he?
I don't trust him.
Because he probably knows many things & you know
none that are accurate?
Perhaps
you should take a survey on how many here trust Franco Folini.
He kept his word. You did not.
Point taken.
BTW, the Half Nutz Putz mentioned that my interview was edited. It was
not edited in any way by Franco Folini.
Where did you copy & edit it from?
The Half Nutz Putz said that I piss off all cadcam companies with my
comments.
Most think you are quite funny I gather <VBG>.
The Half Nutz Putz is lazy and won't read the Mecsoft forum
for Visual Mill and Rhinocam.
Boy, did you pull a big one (again) <G>.
I'm not sure if my comments piss off Delcam either... they have never
edited anything I have posted to their forums and I've been very
critical.
They probably know you have no clues & you posted so very
little (with no actual content in any case).
The acquisition of EGS Featurecam seems to have helped
Featurecam and I'm no longer concerned.
<Snicker>
Now if they would just follow[
my suggestion that I posted today in the Featurecam forum.
When Delcam purchased EGS and Featurecam the Powermill surfacing toolpath engine
was added to Featurecam.
The CAD end of Featurecam is my least favorite part of Featurecam. I moved from
Phoenix, Arizona to San Diego, CA a few months ago. I'm now using Mastercam. I
greatly prefer the CAD end of Mastercam to Featurecam. This got me thinking...
why not incorporate Delcam PowerShape CAD as Featurecam's CAD engine? Without a
doubt this would be better than what Featurecam has now for a CAD front end and
it would also be far better than what Mastercam X2 has.

UPDATE -- July 8, 2007 -- I had to close this blog post to further comments and
to remove the personal attacks between Jon and some other newsgroups readers.
Before the interview, I made an agreement with Jon about the style of the
interview and the way to handle it. Jon didn?t respect our agreement, posting
comments under fake names. Jon?s authentic and fake comments are all posted from
the same IP address, 72.199.251.224. I can now see that my trust in Jon was
misplaced.
