"Maybe Garlicdude's comments came too soon after my post, and toned
down your response."
Not at all. My response would have been the same. Cliffy is so far
gone that all his posts do now is help me. Not only here but in the
SolidWorks newsgroup as well.
"Ahh well, thrust, parry, and counter thrust, advance and retreat,
gambits and sacrifices for territorial concessions, - it's all a
mental
chess game."
The more time goes on the more convinced I am that SVL's approach of
not giving a shit works best. (at least in this area).
"Sure, I like cats."
I'll post a picture of Tux.
"Cliff's star is falling, that your own is automatically rising."
My star is rising because of time served. There is no substitute for
time well served in the machining business.
"Ignore you? What, and miss out on our little chats? Perish the
thought."
Not sure if gears, Tux and the kind of machining I do will hold your
interest. I could always ask Michele to post more.
"LOL Since when have YOU ever cared for or given any respect to the
newsgroup community at large? "
At large no. But I do care about what people like SVL, Steve, Dan, BD,
Matt, etc. think and they make up a core of long time posters here. Do
I care about what Joe 788, Mr. P.V., your pal John Carroll, Gary Lucas
think... nope.
"Are you thinking of changing?"
I'm always changing.... just never enough for you. :>)
"Why certainly."
Very interesting story behind this gear. It's a VW cam timing gear and
it's the best on the market by far.
"Go tohttp://www.metalworking.com/ for interactions on using the
dropbox."
I'm off like a prom dress.
