Re: PCMCIA memory card


I have been asked to get hold of a PCMCIA memory card for a CNC machine.

I know you will ask what machine is it, I dont know at present.

The machine has a slot for a PCMCIA card to the left of the screen and
this has been tested by borrowing a card from a near by factory.

The memory is apparently a compact flash card which sits in the PCMCIA
card.

Does anyone know where I could get hold of this type of equipment in the
UK please. I have phoned several companies but they never get back to me
with any information.

Also, what sort of size of card would I need? Since the programs are only
text files they are quite small.

One more question if I may, when the PCMCIA adapter is plugged into the CNC
machine does it 'stick out' of the panel or completely disappear inside?
