I don't live in the perfect world you do.
You can do more in MasterCAM to verify tool path and with a good post
processor generate error free G-Code. Better than anything you can do
using NC-Plot to check the resulting G-Code.
Apparently neither do many
MasterCAM users who spent lots of money to purchase NC Verify from CG
Tech to verify their *actual G code*.
A completely different issue to what we were discussing. Lots of
people us Vericut to optimize roughing and finish routines, feeds,
speeds and verify complex toolpath's none of these features are found
in NC-Plot.
I guess they don't fully trust
the verification of an internal CADCAM file either. I take it some
MasterCAM users on a budget purchase Predator Softwares stuff to do
the same thing.
You are comparing NC-Plot with Predator Virtual CNC and Vericut?
Like comparing Rocks to Watermelons.
