You are another flaming liberal that thinks everyone in the world has

intellagence to understand world events, when in fact most people in the
world have no idea where the next meal is coming from let alone care
about
what is happening elsewhere. They sell their allienge to the first
person
who keeps the family from starving to death.

A prime example of human nature is the minorities in this country. They
dispise those that give in to them because it robs them of the self
respect
you earn through hard work. Like a spoiled child in Kiddie City they
whine
and cry for another toy,,, never stopping to think about all the toys

have. The hard working minorities are never reworded but instead are
told ,
you only succeeded because you are a minority .. so they hate us too.

One of the reasons the Allies prevailed in WW2 is they were the
morally superior side. For instance, the Soviets could've been beaten
with a Soviet army. At first they didn't fight hard for the hated and
feared Stalin, surrendering by the hundreds of thousands in some
battles. But that wasn't going to last as the Wehrmacht (and the elite
SS divisions) had orders to treat the Slavs as
"untermenschen" (subhumans). Once the Soviets realized they were going
to be treated much worse under the Third Reich than they were under
Stalin, they fought back like caged animals. It was a tremendous
miscalculation by the Germans because they could easily have raised a
native army from the Ukraine in the first year they overran it and
those forces could have turned the tide in the battles for Moscow,
Leningrad or Stalingrad. This observation is made by British historian
Alan Clark in "Barbarossa" as well as by the German Major General F.W.
von Mellenthin in his work, "Panzer Battles".

The soviet troops fought for the same reason anyone whose homeland was
invaded fought, revenge for a child, wife or brother murdered and to
stay
alive. Stalin had no army in the beginning ... he had killed most of
the
good officers.


Stalin had a huge army. He had purged his army, yes, but those guys
didn't rise up from the dead later. They fought back because the
Germans had the intention of exterminating them which was a worse fate
than they would be suffering under Stalin. That fact has been noted in
both the books mentioned.

As for fighting "for the same reason anyone whose homeland was invaded
fought" - do you realize the irony of that statement? Whose homeland
are we in now?
