Nope. I'm from the school of thought that says:

Trust But Verify!

Jon:

Easy enough to verify, just go to the MasterCam forum and ask. Does
this mean we're not going have our little wager?

"Well I'm sorry you couldn't squeeze any information you thought was
useful out of me"

I give you all the info I have freely and when I think you're capable
of being objective I listen. Sometimes I don't feel you are capable of
being objective and I stop listening / reading. Last weeks e-mails
would be a perfect example.

Ahh, I see. Being objective to you means agreeing with YOUR opinions.
Yet ANOTHER trait you share with Cliff. You and he are like siamese
twins joined at the hip.

"I just asked you a question if MasterCam had a speed/feed database
for different materials, and you couldn't or wouldn't answer."

I answered your question you just didn't like my response.

Your answer seemed a little vague to me.

What I
questioned your use of the word database. I would consider database a
misuse in the sense you are using it.

It's a list of materials and related speeds and feeds. That to me
qualifies as a database.

"I've watched various Gibbs videos, and personally I don't get much
out
of watching someone click through a bunch of features."

Sounds like your really out of touch with what a good interactive
video training is all about. Why am I not surprised in the least.

How is watching a video considered "interactive"? If there were a
person on the other end to answer specific questions and show you
different aspects of what you asked to know... then that could be called
interactive. BTW, someone showed me some CAD/CAM demonstration where
our two computers were tied together, now THAT was interactive.

"But you made it sound like an insult that I was E-mailing Cliff"

As far as I know you and Cliffy have e-mailed back and forth for many
years. Why would this be new information to me?

It's not that it was NEW information, I just thought it was a little
peculiar that you seemed to be criticizing a behavior that you had so
recently engaged in yourself.

Worked 58 hours this week and I'm having trouble getting motivated.

Making the big bucks, eh? You should see if you could get a deal on a
street Saleen from your customer at work.
