There ha been quite a lot written about how the US government has beenUS

farmers. Small farmers in developing countries are being destroyed by the
government funded cheap exports.
Funny, one minute it's our fault corn prices are too high, now it's our
fault they're too low. Even though corn is selling higher than I can ever
remember it.
Dave, cotton is one thing, corn another. Corn has been going up because of
rising demand from the biofuel industry; ethanol production is expected to
consume 26% of this year's corn harvest, up from 11% in 2004 ... All the
while, farmers are upping how many acres of corn they're planting, often at
the expense of wheat, cotton, or soybeans.
