Please explain how to use OneCNC & named (such as
Tom, Dick & Alice) fixture offsets for gang-tooled lathe
programming <VBG>.
In fairness to Jon, I don't remember any post asking for "fixture offsets"
for a gang tool lathe. BTW, it's not at all uncommon to use G54-G59 on a
lathe.
He's want to SEE the fixture offsets (values) in the CAM
programming system AND their names ... right? While he's
botching up the program which he will later need to edit at the
control trying to do who-knows-what.
Well, why not? Fixture 1 = G54, fixture 2 = G55, etc.. But since you seem
to be hung up on dick, you could name it dick 1 = G54, etc..
On a horizontal with pallets I would just use G10.
