Every time I upload a simple file from Master Cam V8, I try to run the
program and keep getting 201 and 211 alarm codes.

You need to either set the tool offsets or set up a coordinate system in
the program. If your position display is at X0.0000 when the slide is
home,
then when you command a move to a positive value, G00 X2.0 for example,
the
slide will overtravel. Because it is already at the end of it X+ stroke.


Thinking here maybe his bet would be to contact a local technical college
and perhaps sign up for a class (or several )....
