It would be interesting to fool with the leveling bolts and see if you
get the column a bit more square to the table. But junque is junque no
matter how you slice it.
He has deflection of the spindle under light loads IIRC ...

Either its gotta be in the spindle or else has sloppy ways.
I've heard that this particular machine just might have vee rollers instead
of having actual preloaded crossed ball linear bearings
