Does anyone have an Excell file or spreadsheet that can
calculate/generate thread data using a few data inputs. For example,
if I needed to find the major diameter (min and max) and the pitch
diameter (min and max) for a 9-3/4-12 UN-2A thread, I would just enter
the following:
Nominal diameter = 9.75
# of threads per inch = 12
Class of thread = 2
The spreadsheet would then calculate those values and possibly even
more. It could even calculate thread gauge data, ideal pin diamater
for measurement over wire, etc...
Check out this website for an example of what I'm looking for.

Thanks,

I have a program which lists the type of information you want for 1100+
thread sizes, but doesn't handle calculations based on user input. It sells
for $15.
You can see a screenshot and get a demo at
http://mrainey.freeservers.com/METhreads.html
Within a couple weeks, I expect to have a new version ready which will
output the same level of detail, based on user input of major diameter and
pitch, for thread types UN/UNS, ISO, BUTTRESS,ACME, and STUB ACME. In
addition, I'll be adding hard-coded output for more thread types, including
Metric STI, BSP, Metric Trapezoidal, and perhaps others.
This program will sell for $50.
Shoot me an email if you'd like to be notified when it's ready.
