What is everyone doing about dermatitis in your shop???
How are you treating it???

Stan:

We don't have any, and we use non-synthetic soluble oil.

Recently we have several guys break out with small blister patches on
their skin (including myself) usually in the webs of the fingers and
dry scale patches up on the arms.

Sounds like you've cultured a particularly nasty strain of bacteria.

We use a semi-synthetic (maxim) mix at 3% and we employ skimmers on
most machines.

I thought the semi-synthetics were supposed to better combat bacterial
growth. I'd call your coolant dealer and ask for some bactericide to
add to your coolant.
