Might look at dzus 1/4 turn fasteners. Used mostly for sheetmetal, but
might be applicable. Not sure how automation friendly they would be
though. Fastening in automation is pretty well done by the folks that do
this all the time. I can't think of names right off, but they are all
over the automotive industry.
