John Carroll sells a product called MetaCut Utilities which is a
horrible CNC editor / backplotter created by a software developer who
has no clue what someone in a machining job shop needs and has a track
record of not listening to users.

MetaCut Utilities is apparently good for verifying surfacing toolpath
and very little else. Based on this FACT, John Carroll's comments have
a motivation behind them that is not immediately evident to someone
reading his typical sales motivated drivel.

Further VX directly competes with TopSolid another product that John
Carroll sells. We have several VX users that are regulars of this
newsgroup. We have no one that I'm aware of that has purchased TopSolid
and is willing to discuss it here.

When you read John Carroll's comments about me keep in mind he has an
axe to grind and this situation will get worse as VX and NC Plot
continue to gain more and more market acceptance at the expense of the
products John Carroll sells.

Finally one should be aware that I refused John Carroll's ofter to hire
me. An offer that John Carroll has acknowledged.
