I like cats. I don't have one for the first time in 20 years but I do
have leather upholstery for the first time. Doing a full de claw on a
cat that lives with a dog doesn't seem right. Gotta give the cat fair
chance.
I think a dog is a better choice for a survivalist type. The dog is a
sentry, an ally in a fight, and will retrieve game if the proper breed
and trained.
The dog did ruin the carpet with his claws. I blamed it on the cat
but she is gone and the damage continues.
