... and while I'm asking, what about Romi?

So I have a sales guy stop in with some info an a drill/tap (some off
brinad: a Topper, made by Tong-Tai), and he has with him a flyer on a Romi
gang lathe. It's way cool: a gang lathe that has "wings" forward of the
table, onto which you can put a few more OD tools. The price he quoted me is
pretty darn good... but I've never heard of them and have some reservations
about buying a Brazilian machine. Of course, if they can pay for a trip for
me down there for training purposes, especially during Carnvale", then I'm
all for it.
It's a 16C instead of a 5C, has a Fanuc Oi mate control, hydraulic instead
of pneumatic collet closer, and he said it comes with a 4' bar feed. It's
really interesting, but I'd have to go to Cinncinatti to see one.
Anyway, just wondered if anyone has an Romi stories. I see that they make a
wide range of lathes.
