That is why I kept it simple. I figured you would have enough time
understanding the heartbeat bit. See where it says it is more complex??
So :
The computer could take (for example) the term "trolls suck" in ASCII
convert it to binary and pulse the 5volts with that.
If the downstream computer stops seeing "trolls suck" he must assume that
indeed the computer is dead.
Of course it again is even more complex than that.
