As it was< they got painted red, a big ass form got filled out and
included with the paperwork, and it wasn't till later that I was able to
figure out how it happened in the first place.

But your idea has merit: I'd be sure to do nothing without you checking
it first, every time, that way nothing could go wrong ever again.
