Re: Testing Equipment for 802.11 b/g and Ethernet

I was wondering if there are some good testing equipments available for
802.11 b/g and Ethernet for testing/managing/fault diagnosis of a WLAN
and LAN . It would be good if i can get a link directly to the vendor

Sure, but you won't like the prices. Start here:

Very few "testers" will do both ethernet and wireless. Methinks it
would be helful if you would supply some details as to what you expect
to accomplish with this test equipment. Also, fault detection and
management are usually done with SNMP based software (e.g. HP
OpenView). Are you really looking for a duz it all tester that will
literally test anything in networks (and also manage it)?
