It doesn't matter because the MAC addresses in question are the one's
on your WRT54GS.  You don't filter your own MAC addresses, just those
of the connecting devices.

Your mysterious "range repeater" (whatever make and model that happens
to be) *MIGHT* require a MAC address to operate, but more likely just
requires the common SSID.

That's normal.  The MAC address of the wireless and ethernet ports are
usually different.  Using DD-WRT on a WRT54G v3:
