newbie question on speed
I moved my computer and rather than setting up a long cable across the
room I set up a wireless connection instead, Trendnet 802.11g router
and USB wireless adapter. I checked my speed with toast.net - while
before I would get 4.5 ~ 5 Mb/s (?) I now get around 2.5 Mb. Is that
normal? If other brands are better, should I upgrade the wireless
adapter, or the router, or both?
thanks in advance!
