wireless a/p troubles

I have a Symbol AP-4131, when I connect it to my computer (serial
port) I use to be able to see the menu and make changes.. Now all I
get is an
ATZ
Searching for Bootp
Booting Access Point
+++ATH
+++ATH
+++ATH
+++ATH
I can't break this and access the menu's
Any ideas??? I tried a hard reset (short pins 2 and 3) but this
didn't help
