Does Google Own Yahoo Secretly?

Does Google secretly own Yahoo or have some kind of secret partnership
with Yahoo that no one knows about? The reason I bring it up is it seems
that Yahoo never makes any algo changes on their own until a month or so
after Google makes them for one thing, and now with Google announcing
how they're going to change pagerank to webrank and webrank is what
Yahoo calls it. Kind of makes you think... I think if Google didn't make
any algo changes for 10 years neither would Yahoo and if Google changes
their algo this week I'll bet Yahoo changes theirs in a month from then.
A coincidence? I think not!
