I am trying to figure out how to get started with my web marketing
services business. I have been working in PPC and SEO with Google,
Yahoo, and MSN for nearly 3 years. Recently I have begun putting
effort into learning HTML, XHTML, CSS, and other related languages. I
have written my own website, and it is nearly ready for publication.
However, I have no idea what is the best for me in terms of buying a
domain name and getting set up. My site is small, and I do not expect
a large number of visitors, at least for a while, but I don't know
about what bandwidth, etc I would need. Currently I have less than 20
pages total, including those not shown. I have few graphics and intend
to keep it that way. I will also be avoiding Flash and Java.
Additionally, I am on a limited budget. I don't want to sacrifice
usability on the alter of affordability, but I really don't want to pay
unnecessarily either. Are there any suggestions?
Just get a basic account. I dunno where you are, here or the States?
I also have a links question. I know that I need other sites linking
to me and I need to link to other sites, but is there a best way to go
about obtaining these links?
Go here to get into lots of freebie directories www.selfpromotion.com
