I said ethics, not morals. Have you never heard of business ethics?
It has to do with no one ever voting for politicians again if they
allow this to happen. It has to do with AOL losing its customers (and
having to move to a free service model) since their clients realized
how the scam works and AOL is losing like 25% of their cusomers every
month.
Senators are elected to protect communities
Are you calling what they did to the WTC "protection"?
Is the patriot act "protection"?
1% of our population is in prison.
With all this "protecting" going on, who is protecting our
constitutional rights?
and that means looking
after the major business players in those communities, the big
employers.
Did you say big employers or big campaign donators? I can't hear with
all the telecom tower construction going on here. They have so many
workers.
"AT&T's top IT exec says automation of its IT systems will let it shed
more than 12,000 jobs this year without hurting its network or
service."
So who was protecting the 12,000 people who lost their jobs this year?
Hmm 12,000 x $20,000/year = just enough to pay off congress
They work very closely with the NSA. They already are watching.
Remember they admitted to recording every phone conversation and email
message?
And they store this in which fantasy?
"The National Security Agency has been secretly collecting the phone
call records of tens of millions of Americans, using data provided by
AT&T, Verizon and BellSouth, people with direct knowledge of the
arrangement told USA TODAY."

Don't let them take this tool away from us just because they have
enough money to buy the rules. We, the people, own the internet
We do? Why am I having to pay for it then?
You do not pay for the Internet, and you know that. The Internet will
(hopefully) still be here after you're dead. You pay to rent a server
to host your site because you can't afford to buy your own. You also
pay a connection fee that should cover the cost of the infrastructure,
wires, satellites, and all (but the cost is bent by greedy telecom
monopolies). Internet will be in some cities via Wi-Fi, regulated (and
paid for) by the city governments (your taxes).
This is very real and is happening right now. If you care about
freedom at all, please sign the petition and write to your senators.
The good guys are: Google, eBay, most Intenet Icons
That's because this will hit their incomes, if it really happens. They
aren't good guys, just guys.
They ARE good guys. eBay is an American icon for Entrepreneurialship
and Google is a beacon for universal, multi-cultural diversity and
sharing - (theoretically) without bias.
Why do you think you are here?
Because Google doesn't sell out like our government. Google became
popular because they were bold enough to give us the truth instead of
telling us who pays them the most MONEY.
