Why 8 months?
I have made an own a few websites that did start to attract visitors as soon as they were activated.
It all depends on the right strategy, well made website, clear structure ...
But hey, all those things have been said here how many times? A thousand times or more?
And still people build a website, with little knowledge on technical details, what to fill the website with, where to host it, and how to let it grow. And above all do think that a thousand links a day set to it will lead to glory.
