I realise this question is not related to search engines exactly, but I
don't know who else to ask.
I've been experimenting with CSS, trying to streamline my web pages (trying
to run before I can walk, I guess!) , found a way to create a layer, but it
won't work with html 4. I can't find a source on the net that will actually
tell me what works with what version of html, and I don't really, at this
stage, want to redo every page on my site with XHTML.
What is the difference between them, and is there some way I can create the
layer (using id) in html?
==Not nuts, just a little eccentric==
