When done correctly all that happens is Googlebot etc... are not given
a session and so spider the site without session parameters (they
shouldn't need a sid to navigate your site). This means long term
(under 6 months in my experience) the multiple duplicate pages Google
has indexed (each with it's own sid) will be removed (automatically)
and a stable version (lacking sid's) of your site indexed with no
duplicate entries.
And that is what you want.
Yes, it is but I can not find any forum treads that seems to have a
generally accepted and recommmend solution for the problem.
So I am still looking, if somebody should see something
