In my /extremely/ limited understanding, it's not really meant for speed,
its for doing complex things with huge quantities of data.

I maintain though that the problems
in the developing world aren't there , they're here.

I understand your POV, but don't think it's quite so clear cut an issue.

If it wasn't, they'd be building them there for here.


Seeing as the majority of consumer electronics are built in the third world
(SE Asia) they kind of are already.
