Hello Guys,
www.sadlerspark.co.uk domain was set up as a redirect
What kind of redirect please?
HTTP/1.1 302 Found
Location: http://ssw.countryside-properties.com/sadlerspark/
Well it's good that it was a 302 because that's a temporary redirect
anyway. What you'd need to do, if I have your circumstances right, is
get that taken off and get a 301 redirect set up going the other way.
A 301 is a permanent redirect, so, just to make sure things are as
they should be, let's run things by again.
You have just taken over two sites, A and B, site A having a 302
redirect on it to site B.
Yes?
Yes, you have understood my situation correctly.
If that's the case the that's what I'd do. I won't guarantee you
retain any existing page rank as frankly it's a situation I've not
encountered before. I think if you do lose it then you'll just have to
hang in there till it comes back. If ever.
Thank you very much, Bill.
