Yeah, although I wonder if just making an html file with links to the old
ones does speed things up. I am going to test that, and post the results
here.
The changed link not being removed from the index is a bit surprising,
It is if nobody links to it, Google doesn't find it, and I think that the
"old link update" algorithm is very very slow. Technically my pages, and
perhaps yours as well, are orphans.
