I often kill people who recommend Notepad on sight (virtually that is :-
D), so yeah :-D

If I recall correctly, ages ago (Windows 95 maybe even), I replaced
notepad.exe with a small file which called TextPad. And if my memory
serves me right, it worked with IE.
TextPad has the option "View in browser", which works the other way
around. I prefer running a webserver (Apache) on my development system,
and just view it the "normal" way :-)

That part was a piece of cake: I exported the file using OpenOffice.org.
No Adobe. However, grouping all things was most of the work, since the
reference TextPad has is sorted.... alphabetically!

The editing in OOo is instantenous, (it's a MS Word clone). But tweaking
everything so it fitted on 2 pages was quite a challenge. And make it
look pleasant.
I am considering to make a "missing page" with the more complicated
stuff, like making syntax coloring files, etc.
