'Top Links' not Correctly Working

After years of use on Google, I suddely encountered a problem I could
not solve. In all my search results windows the 'top links' (i.e. web,
images, groups, news) are now to the side.... this is quite a
persistent problem. I first thought it was some extension I downloaded
for Firefox, but i uninstalled all of them. I someone has encountered
this problem and fixed it, please help!!
