I hope not, since Notepad is really not that useful, there are so many
free replacements that are much and much better. Textpad is not free (ok,
you can ignore the pop up window), and you can't take Notepad serious
after using it, especially not for work you want to take seriously.

Moreover, my advice was very serious: the cream of SE software is software
that helps you create content. A good editor is a good start.

Textpad has a good find and replace built in, and the makers sell a
separate tool. But a word of warning: you seem to suggest to re-use
available content. It might work today, maybe next year, but after some
time copied content, how nicely put together, will rank lower. It's too
easy.
