They as in if either of them want to create a page (so read they as
Bill or Roy not Bill and Roy), never thought Bill played a hand in the
actual wording of Roy's page other than the later comment.

Still doesn't make it accurate though.

I'm glad you see that at last :-)

And that's your choice, I like to use real examples and that was the
easiest to find (took no research as noticed his behaviour of posting
easy SERPs to look good previously). I doubt I'll find a better real
example at another site without a lot of research. Why would I waste
my time doing that when I already have a perfect example of this
unethical business tactic that some SEO consultants use to con
potential clients?

Tell you what Carol, you find me a better example and I'll seriously
consider changing it. Will have to be a better example than Bill's
though since it means spending time on this changing the page.

It really has to be a SEO company, the example is to warn visitors
looking for a SEO to look out for this unethical technique.

ROFLOL hope you are sleeping OK with all that coffee in your system,
he asks at almost 8.30am in the morning after a late night of working
on converting the basic PHPBB tables based forum into a completely CSS
based design.
