Quoting a header with x-no-archive in it, doesn't make the headers of
that post contain it.

GG only deletes it after some time, as I said, 6 or 7 days. Any
indication as to which post you mean? (it might just be sitting in my
newsreader here, so I can have a look at it)

Shouldn't make a difference wrt to what GG does with the header I
think.
