New or old to usenet, you should've let common sense guide you on
thinking if "Posting 4 to 5 times o a group just to share my site URL
every day" would be a wanted thing by other folks participating in the
group.
Besides, looks really desperate when someone does that ... you know
what I mean? A site owner doesn't wish to appear desperate as then it
has people figure the site is worthless (hence the desperate atempts
of posting the URL to 'advertise" it).
Given that you are claiming to offering tools to help other people
gain traffic (e.g. link populairty and 'submit your site to 100's of
search engines'), then I am not telling you anything you shouldn't
already know.
>My site is related to search engine submission
So:? I can get a site submitted to a search engine without using your
'submit your URL to 100's of search engines' page. Anyone can without
using that page in your site.
No big secret and really easy - get some links to your site from
another site adn viola! The search engines spiders will find you by
following those links. One should not and does not need to use a page
claiming to auto-submit their URL for them. Why should they?
>and i am putting my ad in this group.
And what is it you were asking about spamming? I think you answered
your own question with this line - don't you think? I dont' see any
other posts in this group from you outside of "ads" and multiple "ads"
at that - for things like "search engine submission" which is a waste
of time on the other person's side to use such a thing to begin with
and waste of people's time to download those posts just to see you
repeating yourself.
If it had been one time, and a one post, that would may have not upset
folks, but you went overboard - and you know, in hindisight, that you
did.
If your site is about search engien submission - then why haven't you
participated in any threads discussing that topic? You have also
'advertised' a link popularity/checker tool yet I haven't seen you
participating in any discusions about IBLs and such.
>Well i want to know how
>this is spamming? I have already stopped submitting my site in google
>groups
You want to submit you site to Google -- NOT Google Groups.
>Plz anybody can help me with that?
Post on-topic; ads, especially multiple ones for the same site, are
generally not on-topic but provoke off-topic comments {e.g. other
people commenting on the spamming] or complaints to be sent to the
"ad"/spam author's site host, providor, domain registar, and others
.... the goal of the complaints is generally to remove the author's
access or removal of the URL being advertised/spammed {therefore all
the prior posts being worthless even in Google Group's archives].
To post on-topic, participate in threads and share your knowledge or
opinion THEN share your URL [if you feel the yen to] as a sig file.
Note though that mirrors of usenet often obfuscate URLs shared in
posts and/or as sig lines so those mirrors will not help to boost your
backlinks tally.
So relax on the advertising and instead participate on the group. You
will fare better that way - even in gaining traffic to yoru site.
Think about it. :)
