Lucky you. I have submitted two sites in February. One was accepted
in June, second was not accepted up to now - and I doubt it is due
to the fact that the site is 'unacceptable', they just don't have
enough manpower to review it.

I have nothing against DMOZ, it is worth a try - but you can't rely
on it. Especially when you need fast link for search engines.
