HTML forms & anchors

I'm creating a site. I want the data from the web form to be sent to my
email address when someone clicks the submit tab. How do I do it?
If anyone knows the code from < to >, I would appreciate know it. My
teacher at the college is oblivious and knows only the basics but he
still expects the site to be operational:(
So if you could fill in the blanks then that would be cool.
