Perhaps you missed this bit of the saga, Jake. You see it is
like this. Luigi was beaten up badly soon as he walked into
Germany (see earlier posts). This has affected him more than is
evident on the surface. So it is no wonder that he will
occasionally babble in German in a context that seems
inappropriate. It is trauma. I think we need to be a little
sensitive here and pass over these things. It's ok, old chap, I
am sure you just missed the finer details of the history and
meant no callousness...
