Obviously if this is the case, I would like the seal replaced to return the
watch to it's original level of protection from water ingress.
seconded to what Frank said, get the new battery and pressure test done
preferably at a Casio service agent, not from the mall battery changer.
ideally this would have the pusher and crowns removed, the seals checked
cleaned/replaced and regreased, the battery replaced along with checking
the old battery hasn't leaked, new back gasket and pressure test.
the mall changers don't do this, they just shove a battery in, in the
pressure tester and if it passes you get it back, but you still have a
dirty case with sticky pushers that might fail in a couple of months.
anyway any watch with a pressure rating that you intend to use in water
get it pressure tested, for professional divers the watch should be
tested once a year regardless if it needs a battery or not
.
