Hello
I'm not a watch repair person but is there a way we could clean our
dial on vintage watches?
I did try to clean one and it took all the numbers off soo
on a fired enamel dial no problem, with painted dials, no, very careful
use of rodico can brighten dials but depending on the condition of the
dial lacquer you can still remove paint and numerals.
really it is best to leave them alone or have them repainted, and the
repaint job will never be like the original.
Thanks alot
will leave them alone and enjoy thier age
.
