I didn't and it works.
There is a hole with AC and an arrow by it.
I am no expert, so wonder what this instruction means.
All Clear, a digital watch uses a computer chip for the display and functions, if it is not reset then errors can result in the display and functions.
some movements use a AC terminal, others you have to hold the 4 buttons down until the display turns on all the elements.
