small ladies sports watch

Hi

I am looking for a watch as a gift for my wife but the specifications are a
bit exacting and I'm having trouble tracking down anything which fits the
bill - suggestions would be very welcome.

It needs to be:

a) small (<28mm dia);
b) easy to read dial (pref with luminous hands and marks);
c) a sports watch she can genuinely use in sport (ie skiing, windsurfing,
hiking, running);
d) a rubber or fabric strap;
e) no more that £1000 (say around$2000
f) available in the UK

I'd like it to be:

g) a chronometer;
e) automatic (rather than quartz).

The nearest thing I've seen is the Victorinox Swiss Army Crusader but that
is a) 30mm and b) quartz. Any recommendations anyone.
