My question is do you think this watch is worth it at this price and
would these watches would hold their value in the long term? I'm not
really looking to buy the watch as an investment but would be curious
to know if you feel that the these watches would not be halved in
value after 20 years.
Large exploding numerals were eye-grabbing when Muller resurrected a
decades old design several years ago. Muller over-did the size of the
watch and the explosion and generated a lot of copy-cat designs. As a
consequence Muller is faced with having to add even more glitz to keep
generating sales from a shop-worn design. An open escapement and
sparkly diamonds will help for a while. But what's next - a joint
venture with Invicta? I can see it now:
The Invuller Long Island Grand Dragon Lupah Pave with swissasian
tourbillon movement.
