Anyone know where I might find a downloadable copy of the manual for a Seiko 5 (SKZ209)?
Thanks.
ummm.
crown pushed in number 1 position doesn't do anything, no handwinding posible
number 2 position or midway is to change the day/date by rotating clockwise or anticlock, don't quick change the day/date between hours 8pm to 3am otherwise damage to the day/date system could result.
3rd position or all the way out is hand setting, turn hands forward until day/date change over, this is midnight, then advance hands to correct time.
so normal use at 10am for example, shake the watch 20times or so to put some tension on the mainspring so the watch will run, pull the crown out all the way, turn the hands forward until day/date changes then keep going forward until they reach 10am, push the crown in to middle position, set the day and date wheels onto the correct day and date.
push the crown all the way in and put the watch on your wrist.
hard wasn't it ;)
