Re: New ETA Valgrange Chrono movement, incremental evolution of the 7750?

I don't see why making the movement plate bigger would cause the crowns and
pushers to offset. In the DD, the chrono module sits on top of a regular
ETA auto movement so it's impossible for the crown and pushers to be in the
same plane but I'd bet that these will be in the same place as a regular
7750 - in a line/w each other.
Crown digging into wrist is more a function of the design of the case and
size of crown - in a DD module the buttons are higher (closer to the dial)
but crown is in the same place it would be in an ETA 2892 relative to the
back of the case/top of your wrist.

The real question is whether the pushers and crown will be offset, like on
the D-D chrono movement. If so, I can't wear it, the crown digs into my
wrist.

Hi, I have been trying to find out more about the new Valgrange Chrono
movement created by ETA, which to the best that I understand, was
created to fill the need for larger watch cases.
I'm trying to understand if its in general, just a 7750 up-sized or
has there been any significant change to the movement? (update: I note
that the power reserve has gone up to 46hrs)
Any thoughts greatly appreciated, thanks! :)
