I don;t know anything about this watch, what you paid for it, what it was made for or even what it looks like. I tend to be very careful with my vintage watches, even if it's pressure tested with a new crystal and a screw down crown I do my best not to get vintage watches wet or expose them to shock or other trauma. But it's your watch, do as you please.
